Regenerative capacity of skin:

Nature provides skin with its own defense mechanism. Anti-oxidant barrier is among such prime mechanisms. The skin has to face sun and other environmental pollution constantly. Over the years, the defense mechanism of the skin tends to wear out. This process is further hastened with the use of excessive chemicals-mixed cosmetics.  Such products take out the natural shine and render the skin more vulnerable to aging and lines.

To support skin against sun damage, pollutants, daily burn-out and age-related factors, the safer and reliable way would be to strengthen it.  The plants and minerals provide abundant supplies of right kind of ingredients which can maintain the elasticity of the skin.  Herbally Radiant has therefore combined hundreds of natural organic ingredients into its signature range of anti-aging products according to the skin type. For oily skin, it is the Rejuvenating Cleanser, Toner, Serum and Moisturizer, and for dry-combination skin, it is the Radiant Cleanser, Toner, Serum, Serum and Moisturizer.  Different organic ingredients have been used in these products in a focused manner which indeed create a rejuvenating effect on the skin.

Considering the prevailing exorbitant costs of highly branded inorganic products, Herbally Radiant has introduced its Rejuvenating and Radiant range of products by bringing down their costs substantially in order to bring them within the easy reach of most of its customers.  These products display natural organic ingredients in sufficient details to help customers make right choice. Only essential oils have been used in their production, especially to ensure that they are always skin-friendly even for those who have sensitive skin.

Chemical ingredients in beauty products:

The Environmental Working Group in a survey of more than two thousand adults found that the average woman encounters 168 chemical ingredients in her beauty regimen everyday. In the case of men, such ingredients were recorded at nearly 85.

With 90% of the 10,500 different chemicals used in personal care products, which have not been evaluated by the FDA for safety, it's impossible to feel comfortable while our skin is potentially absorbing many chemicals which could be harmful to skin. Some of these chemicals can harm the environment, too.

We should not take comfort with such consolation that beauty products contain small amounts of toxic chemicals. Even "active ingredients" that promise most benefits for our beauty make up just 1% of most beauty products being sold in the market.

The fact remains that we're using these products regularly, essentially creating a stockpile of some chemicals in our bodies which may only cause harm after long use. Some preservative chemicals used in cosmetics (like parabens) have been shown to mimic the hormone estrogen, contributing to a number of health related issues, especially for mothers breast feeding their children. Pregnant mothers can pass along the effects of some chemicals to their unborn off springs.

Herbally Radiant has, therefore, been promoting use of safe and beneficial organic skin care products. It is manufacturing herbal organic products in US according to its own formulations. These are receiving very encouraging response from the customers.  A special mention could be made of the anti-acne formulations in its Clean range (Cleansers, Toners, Serum and Scrub), which have been developed to fight acne and related problems. These special products are being patented by Herbally Radiant to prevent misuse by counterfeiters.

Common ACNE problem in beauty care regime

Acne is not caused by any single factor. It occurs when sebaceous (oil) glands attached to the hair follicles are stimulated. Associated with increased oil production is a change in the manner in which the skin cells mature, predisposing them to clog the follicular pore. The clog can appear as a whitehead if it is covered by a thin layer of skin, or if exposed to the air, the darker exposed portion of the plug is called a "blackhead." Blackheads  are oxidized oil, not dirt. Excessive washing can dry and irritate the skin.

Some medications may cause or worsen acne, such as those containing iodides, bromides, or oral or injected steroids (Orasone, Prednicen-M, Liquid Pred), or the steroids that bodybuilders or athletes sometimes take). Other drugs that can cause or aggravate acne are anticonvulsant medications and lithium.

The right time to treat it is when it bothers you or when the potential for scarring develops. This can be when severe acne flares suddenly, for mild acne that just won't go away, or even when a single pimple decides to show up the week before your prom or wedding.

Responding to requests from customers, Herbally Radiant has introduced Clean series of Cleanser, Toner, Scrub and Serum.  The combined effect of these has helped many in getting rid of their acne problem.  These are infused with organic antioxidant extracts and contain such nutrients for skin like tea tree essential oil, aloe vera, DMAE, MSM, etc.  Regular use of the Clean range products will render skin clear and bright.

Prevent Dryness in Winter with Skin Friendly Organic Moisturizer

During dry winter months, skin's natural moisturizing capacity needs constant support. Attractively packaged chemical formulations in the market might look tempting due to their aggressive marketing, but it is important to use gentle skin-friendly organic moisturizers to prevent dryness and maintain bright skin. Non-organic moisturizers only provide a layer on skin surface, without providing nourishment through the pores on the skin.

Herbally Radiant has introduced following special moisturizers this month to meet customers' needs at heavily discounted prices :

1) Minty Cocoa Indulgence - Nourishing Hand Cream  ($ 7.90): To prevent dryness in hands.

2)Cocoa Butter Body Cream - Rich and Deliciously Nourishing Cream for Dry Skin ($ 10.90) : To provide rich nutrients to body.

In winter, our cracked, dry and veiny hands could reveal effects of aging

As dermatologist Dr. Stuart Maddin, University of British Columbia, stressed, “skin on the back of the hands is very thin, and hands are, therefore very susceptible to damage which translates into loose skin, age spots and visible veins.”

The dermatologists have advised : 1) protect your hands from strong dishwashing liquid with latex gloves; 2) use of gentle hand soap as harsh cleaning stuff strips skin of its natural oils; and 3) keep hands adequately moisturized especially during the dry winter months.

Finding all kinds of harsh antibacterial hand wash, soaps, dishwashing liquids in the market, which render your hand skin susceptible to cracking, Herbally Radiant has specially launched gentle organic hand wash which prevents dryness and helps skin retain its natural moisture.

Dermatologists point out that cold air and fierce winds deplete the skin of oil production, and when the skin loses oils that provide natural moisturizing elements, it can become very dry, inflamed and cracked. Regular moisturizing of hands is important in winter both due to cool and dryness in atmosphere and warm air from heaters-furnaces while inside the house.

Regular application of Hand & Foot Lotion made by Herbally Radiant is especially useful in winter.

It is very timely that FDA has issued public warning against use of "antibacterial" hand wash and soaps with chemical composition. These can contribute to the creation of hardier, more resistant bacterial strains. Even American Medical Association does not recommend it. It has been reported that antibiotic resistant infections now claim more lives each year than the "modern plague" of AIDS, costing $ 20 billion a year to the American health system.

Herbally Radiant has therefore launched gentle organic hand wash without any sulfate or chemicals. This keeps hands clean and prevents dryness without any harmful effects associated with chemical-based antibacterial handwash and soaps.

Some important ingredients in our organic beauty products:

Avocado:  Avocado oil is made from the pulp of the avocado fruit. It is a rich, heavy but penetrating oil that is full of nutritive and therapeutic components. Avocado oil contains more than 20% essential unsaturated fatty acids. It contains vitamins A, C, D and E, proteins, betacarotene, lecithin, fatty acids and the "youth mineral" potassium. Avocado oil is high in unsaponifiables (sterolins) which are beneficial in reducing age spots, healing scars and moisturizing the upper layers of the skin. Unsaponifiables are a large group of compounds called plant steroids or sterolins. They soften the skin, have superior moisturizing effect on the upper layer of the skin and reduce scars. The sterolins in avocado oil have been found to diminish age spots. Oils with the highest unsaponifiables are shea butter, avocado oil, sesame oil, soybean oil and olive oil.

A 1991 study of the Department of Food Engineering and Biotechnology, Technion, Israel, Institute of Technology found that the treatment with  avocado oil significantly increases the water soluble collagen content in the dermis, which affects the age of the skin. Avocado is used in many folk medicines as an aphrodisiac. Avocado oil is an emollient and very stable. According to the AMA's Committee on Coetaneous Health, it does help make the skin feel softer and smoother, reduce roughness, cracking and irritation. It helps in retarding the fine wrinkles of aging, and protect the skin from ultraviolet rays.

Herbally Radiant, therefore, uses avocado oil, along with combination of other ingredients, in many of its beauty products.

Some Harmful chemicals in cosmetic products:
There is a great deal of mislabeling on beauty products. They make all kinds of claims, many times without specifying the actual ingredients in the formulations.  Many brands carry chemicals which harm skin over long use, and at times cause irreparable damage.

 Harmful chemicals in cosmetics:
Most cosmetic products contain a diverse collection of chemicals with varying levels of toxicity. You won't notice most of them. These will be absorbed into our body silently. Being exposed to these chemicals once won't harm us; most of us after all use these cosmetics every day. However, the daily barrage of these compounds will cause a build-up in our body. Some of the most common chemicals include coal tar (a known carcinogen), diethanolamine (disrupting balance of hormones), lead and mercury. That's merely a small sample. These chemical ingredients are included in most cosmetics under the facade of making us look attractive. In truth, they can gradually strip the skin before being absorbed into our body.  By contrast, using organic cosmetics doesn't leave us vulnerable to the carcinogens, toxins and nanoparticles contained in conventional products. That means they won't be absorbed into our body.

Better For Environment

Think of a car battery. Consider all of the chemicals in that battery. When the battery outlives its useful life, it's unlawful to discard it into the trash. The reason is because the chemicals aren't biodegradable. That is, the environment can't absorb them harmlessly. Many of the chemicals in traditional cosmetics are similar. You may be able to throw old cosmetics in the garbage, but they're still harmful to the environment. Organic cosmetics do not contain these chemicals. Using them is easier on the environment because they contain ingredients that are biodegradable.

How To Shop For Organic Cosmetics

Because the term "organic" attracts so many people, savvy advertisers slap the term on many products that don't deserve credit. So, when you're shopping for your organic cosmetics, take a few moments and look at the list of ingredients. Make sure they're certifiably organic. The process through which the cosmetics were created should be explained on the packaging. Read it. There's little reason for true organic cosmetic products to contain preservatives, harmful emollients, or colorants. Keep your eyes open so you'll know exactly what you're buying.

Treating Your Body Naturally

Our bodies can handle plenty of abuse. But, that shouldn't be an excuse for introducing hundreds of harmful chemicals into our system needlessly. These chemicals may not have an immediate health impact. But, over time, our daily usage of conventional cosmetics can assault our bodies with foreign compounds. These compounds will have an aggregate effect. After years of allowing these chemicals access to our bodies, there will be an adverse impact. Use organic cosmetics. They're better for you and better for the environment in which you live. Remember, you have the choice. It's time to exercise it.

Vitamins in Herbally Radiant skincare products

Let us have a look at the main vitamin ingredients which we use in our herbal organic products in order to enhance natural beauty of skin. These vitamins have been derived from plants or herbs. It is useful to learn the benefits our skin derives from them:

Vitamin A (Beta Carotene).  Helps maintain smooth, soft disease-free skin; helps protect the mucous membranes of the mouth, nose, throat lungs, which helps reduce our susceptibility to infections; protects against air pollutants and contaminants; helps improve eye sight and counteracts night-blindness; aids in bone and teeth formation; improves skin elasticity, moisture content and suppleness; and helps reverse the signs of photo-aging. A lack of vitamin A can cause skin to become dry and hardened.

Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid)  Vitamin C is essential for healthy teeth, gums bones; helps heal wounds, scar tissue, fractures; prevents scurvy; builds resistance to infection; aids in the prevention treatment of the common cold; gives strength to blood vessels; aids in the absorption of iron. It is required for the synthesis of collagen, the inter-cellular cement which holds tissues together, and is also one of the major antioxidant nutrients. It prevents the conversion of nitrates (from tobacco smoke, smog, bacon, lunchmeats, some vegetables) into cancer-causing substances. Moreover, Vitamin C has been shown to help slow the production of hyper-pigmentation (age spots) while providing some UV protection.

Vitamin E (Tocopherol Acetate).  The Vitamin E family is well known for its antioxidant capabilities, protecting vital cell structures by neutralizing molecules called “free radicals”. Free radicals are unstable molecules produced from sources like air pollution, radiation, and peroxides.

Wheat Germ Oil  (Triticum vulgare). A natural preservative, very high in Vitamin E and also containing Vitamin A and D. It supports the skins natural process of regeneration; aids muscle and lymph function and is particularly valuable for treating dry, aging skin. Good for stretch marks and scar tissue, and for dry rough skin. It leaves the skin very smooth while nourishing and helping heal the skin. It is also rich source of Vitamin E, A, D, proteins, Lecithin, and Squalene, and useful for numerous irritations including roughness of the skin, cracking, chaffing; also effective to help reverse the wrinkling process.

Skin and overall Health:

Skin and overall Health:
We all know that our skin, the largest organ of our body, needs right nourishment. It is by far the most important part of our personality. It is also essential that we keep our skin healthy and in best shape as part of our overall health and fitness.  Using organic cosmetics is the best way to take care of our skin, to make it illustrious and eloquent. However, in our everyday life, we happen to pummel our bodies with all kinds of chemical ingredients.
Despite the widespread awareness of harmful effects of synthetic and chemical substances, our eating, drinking and breathing contain massive assortment of foreign compounds. Most cosmetic products contain a diverse collection of chemicals with varying levels of toxicity. You won't notice most of them. They'll be absorbed into our body silently. Some of the most common chemicals include aluminium, formaldehydes, alcohol, coal tar (a known carcinogen), diethanolamine (disrupting balance of hormones), lead and mercury. That's merely a small sample. These chemicals are included in most cosmetics under the facade of making us look attractive. In truth, they can gradually strip the skin before being absorbed into our body.

Being exposed to these chemicals once won't harm us; most of us after all use these cosmetics every day. However, the daily barrage of these compounds will cause a build-up in our body. By contrast, using organic cosmetics doesn't leave us vulnerable to the carcinogens, toxins and nanoparticles contained in conventional products. That means they won't be absorbed into our body.
s, especially aluminium, formaldehydes, alcohol, etc., once introduced into our bodies, begin wreaking havoc almost immediately not only to our skin but to other parts of body as well.  Who would want his skin to absorb these and have them enter in the bloodstream day in and day out?
With increasing awareness of the damage caused by chemical and synthetic products, larger number of people are making the switch to organics, more so because the skin can absorb upto 60% of the healthy organic ingredients into our bloodstream for better effects.
There are other benefits to using organic cosmetics and skin care as well. For example, the less chemicals and artificial products that are contained in our skin care products, the less of a chance we will have of any allergic reaction to them. Many people have found that certain cosmetics have triggered asthmatic reactions that are no longer triggered when using organic makeup.
With our expertise, Herbally Radiant has been offering natural ingredients in all skin care products. These have rich nutrients which repair skin damage, reduce wrinkles, lines and revitalize skin to restore young looks, thereby creating beautiful personality. Just have a look at shop.herballyradiant.com and see the wide variety of organic products to suit all ages and skin.

TOP NATURAL ANTI-AGING AND BEAUTY ENHANCING PRODUCTS FROM HERBALLY RADIANT

To maintain beautiful and young looks, trusted organic formulations offer safe choice.

It is advisable to look into the ingredients on the label of any cosmetic product that one wishes to buy. There are all kinds of lofty claims from the cosmetic companies assuring golden youthful bright skin, fountain of youth or youthful looks and so on with their “new” formula products.

Latest in such claims are anti-aging supplements. It is interesting to see what the Consumer Reports have to say about these. Their unanimous verdict: Do not count on such supplements.

Similarly, the claim that infusion of vitamins in high doses will make one younger also holds no ground.  The best way to get vitamins is through your diet.

Talking about skin, one can give up applying chemical based products. Avoid peeling off skin in salons with strong in-organic exfoliating lotions. There are good herbal natural formulations with certified organic ingredients which are most skin-friendly and provide best nutrients to revitalize the skin.

Among the anti-aging formulations, Herbally Radiant has figured out and launched its most effective combinations of organic ingredients to take special care of oily and dry skin types.  These formulations help in a special way to hydrate skin and bring about a visible improvement in its texture. Regular use of Rejuvenating and Radiant cleansers, toners, serum and moisturizers lead to softening  of the skin, reducing appearance of aging signs and giving it beautiful look. In fact, the Rejuvenating and Radiant Serums are special great formulations for sensitive skin or any problem skin.

Growing trend of the use of organic beauty products is a welcome sign. In Europe, nearly 80% of women now prefer organic skin care products. This is steadily growing in North America as well.  Good health is well reflected through healthy skin, which enhances self-esteem, thereby developing confidence and other positive traits.

Home made Organic Facial Masks

Here are some home-made organic facial masks to enhance natural beauty. These organic formulations help in rejuvenating face and restoring radiant looks :

Vinegar Masks

Using vinegar as a skin toner dates back to the time of Helen of Troy, and it’s just as effective today. After you wash your face, mix 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar with 2 cups water as a finishing rinse to cleanse and tighten your skin. You can also create a homemade facial mask by mixing 1/4 cup cider vinegar with 1/4 cup water. Gently apply the solution to your face and let it dry.

Milk Facial Masks

Here’s another way to give yourself a fancy spa facial at home. Make a mask by mixing 1/4 cup powdered milk with enough water to form a thick paste. Thoroughly coat your face with the mixture, let dry completely, then rinse with warm water. Your face will feel fresh and rejuvenated.

Oatmeal Facial Masks

If you’re looking for a quick pick-me-up that will leave you feeling and looking better, give yourself an oatmeal facial. Combine 1/2 cup hot—not boiling—water and 1/3 cup oatmeal. After the water and oatmeal have settled for two or three minutes, mix in 2 tablespoons plain yogurt, 2 tablespoons honey, and 1 small egg white. Apply a thin layer of the mask to your face, and let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes. Then rinse with warm water. (Be sure to place a metal or plastic strainer in your sink to avoid clogging the drain with the granules.)

Mayonnaise Facial Masks

Gently spread the mayonnaise over your face and leave it on for about 20 minutes. Then wipe it off and rinse with cool water. Your face will feel clean and smooth.

Yogurt Facial Masks

You don’t have to go to a spa to give your face a quick assist. To cleanse your skin and tighten the pores, slather some plain yogurt on your face and let it sit for about 20 minutes. For a revitalizing facial mask, mix 1 teaspoon plain yogurt with the juice from 1/4 slice of orange, some of the orange pulp, and 1 teaspoon aloe. Leave the mixture on your face for at least five minutes before rinsing it off.

Mustard Facial Masks

Pat your face with mild yellow mustard for a bracing facial that will soothe and stimulate your skin. Try it on a small test area first to make sure it won't irritate.

Lemon Facial Masks

Create a facial that both exfoliates and moisturizes by mixing the juice from 1 lemon with 1/4 cup olive oil or sweet almond oil.

Egg Facial Masks

For a little pampering, head to the refrigerator and grab an egg. If you have dry skin that needs moisturizing, separate the egg and beat the yolk. Oily skin takes the egg white, to which a bit of lemon or honey can be added. For normal skin, use the entire egg. Apply the beaten egg, relax and wait 30 minutes, then rinse. You’ll love your new fresh face.

Herbally Radiant has created its own formulations which contain additional organic ingredients so that the face benefits from the choicest nutrients to enhance beauty. It might not be possible for many to prepare home-made products. Herbally Radiant, therefore, offers through its stores in Sylvania, USA, and its online store (www.herballyradiant.com) a variety of organic beauty formulations for ready use (shipping free on orders of $ 25 and more).

See what a well known Heart Surgeon says about diet and skin care

Let us see what an experienced physician (heart surgeon) has to say on skin-care and beauty. We quote his remarks :
(By way of introduction: Dr. Oz, a Turkish-American cardiothoracic surgeon, author, and television personality, professor at the department of Surgery at Columbia University since 2001, directs Cardiovascular Institute and Complementary Medicine Program at New York-Presbyterian Hospital,  co-authored over 400 research papers, book chapters and books. Esquire magazine placed him on its list of the 75 Most Influential People of the 21st Century. He was called a Global Leader of Tomorrow by the World Economic Forum and one of “The Harvard 100 Most Influential Alumni”.)

I don't want to have flab. I don't want to get winded. What can I do?
Without question: Walk more. It's simple, you won't get hurt, and it's the foundation of every other physical program. But it has to be automatic — you can't have to think about it every day. So just pick one simple thing — I'm not using the elevator anymore, or I'm not going to drive to our local store — that from now on you're going to do to be more physically active. It'll add up. The Amish walk more than 14,000 steps a day, and they have an obesity rate under 5 percent.

Is antibacterial soap bullshit?
It is bullshit.

If I exercise for an hour every Saturday......is that as good as twenty minutes three times a week?
Is it better to brush your teeth every day or for a long time on Sundays only?

Carrots: honestly good for the eyes or old wives' tale?
Lutein is the best for eyes — and it's in leafy, green vegetables. The carrot rumor was started during the Second World War. The Nazis realized that the British were getting a lot of lucky shots on their aircraft, and so the British started the rumor that their pilots were being given carrots to improve their eyesight. Which was hogwash. What they really did was discover radar.

My dermatologist asked me how many sunburns I got before I was 18......Is that when I screwed myself with the melanoma?
We used to think you got most of your UV exposure before age 18. Now we know it's more like 25 percent. But even if you burn once, you increase the chance of developing melanoma. But we're talking about blistering burns, like inThe Heartbreak Kid. Not just a little redness.

When it comes to exercising outdoors, how cold is too cold?
Zero and below, or a windchill of minus 20 or more. This is frostbite territory. If it’s warmer than that, you’re fine. Just don’t overdo it.

What's the best way to wash my face?
Unless you work under a car, you don't have to wash your face with some harsh astringent that smells like kerosene. Harsh soaps strip off what's called the acid mantle, a layer of oil that you're supposed to have — it's like protective cellophane. Plus, 7 percent of men are allergic to the artificial scents and chemicals in soaps.

Why should I moisturize?
In the morning, a lot of men splash on alcohol-based astringents, colognes, and aftershaves. This is okay and gives you a nice, bracing sting, but there's no health benefit, and they can dry your face out. I use a cream-based moisturizer that contains the most important ingredient in any unguent: sunblock. Then at night, smear on a moisturizer that contains antioxidants, which actually rejuvenate your skin while you sleep.

And how do I choose the right moisturizer?
How to choose a moisturizer: Start by asking a woman what she uses. For a long time women have been doing things to their faces that men are just waking up to. There are products being made now that are designed for a male audience; one of the fastest growing segments of the cosmetics industry is men's products. The major difference between men's and women's products is the smells they put into them — our products are simply packaged differently. But skin is skin is skin.

Why should I exfoliate?
Women do this, yes. But do you really think that only women have dry, dead skin on their faces that needs scrubbing off? That's all exfoliating means. Do it once or twice a week using a cleanser that says "exfoliant" on the label. A generation ago, people used natural chemicals like apple-cider vinegar; crushed apricot pits are a common ingredient in today's exfoliants. In a pinch, drying with a rough towel after a wash will do the trick. Your face will actually appear fresher and younger.

What's the best time of day to exercise?
Morning. It focuses your mind, you won't blow it off later in the day, and it won't keep you up at night with pounding adrenaline surges because you just benched your all-time high.

What do I need to know about my heart at age 25, 35, 45, and 55?
You need to know this — and doctors learned it only recently: The heart muscle actually regenerates throughout your life. We used to think it stopped after you were grown. But your heart willstopregenerating if you don't keep challenging it. So exercise. At every age.

You're given the power to remove one unhealthy part of American life. What's your pick?
Sugar. White sugar and corn syrup. They're empty calories, they become almost addictive, they contribute to obesity and therefore to a whole range of related problems (hypertension and depression to name two), they're a major cause of type-2 diabetes.

We see the physician’s advice to use natural products for cleansing, moisturizing and exfoliating facial skin.  He says there is no health benefit by using alcohol-based astringents, colognes, etc. which create dryness on face and speed up aging process. The safer way would therefore be to follow natural organic skin care for both and face.

Wonders of herbal products for beauty and health

The chemical-based skin care products are known to be having harmful effect on skin in the long run. Besides diminishing the natural radiance of the skin, they aggravate skin allergies, especially in sensitive skin. The trend, therefore, is to go in for the natural organic cosmetic and skin care products in order to enhance beauty and take good care of the skin and hair. Consumers in Europe and US are embracing natural products increasingly.

Herbal Cosmetics are natural products derived from plants, flowers, spices, fruit extracts and minerals. Cleansers, toners, moisturizers, face masks, creams, lotions, face packs- all are available in herbal varieties which have proven record of safety and efficacy. Products with organic ingredients in lip gels and balms, soaps, shampoos, conditioners, hair packs, hair gels, sun protective bases and makeup ranges are also growing in demand.

Best way to stay fit, remain beautiful and healthy is to benefit from nature’s bounty. Our body’s response to organic substances is naturally effective. Some of these have amazing protective and curative properties can be combined in cosmetic and skin care applications. They help nourish or cleanse skin, whip up circulation, refine the pores, freshen the skin, leaving it soft and glowing. Many of these help skin’s capacity to absorb, allowing better penetration of beneficial herbal ingredients.

Some simple household products may also double up as natural cosmetics. These constitute home remedies for skin and hair problems. Natural cleansers like milk and lemon are effective natural cosmetics in themselves. Fruits can make up excellent face packs. Cucumbers, peaches and apricots need special mention here. The oils obtained from almond and coconut act as very good massage for skin and hair. The application of these oils brings healthy glow to the skin and hair, making them beautiful. They also help restore and maintain youth by controlling wrinkle and crease formation on

The natural skin care certainly promise to pamper your beauty and aesthetic senses and bring about a transformation in the way you look about yourself and nature. A whole range of herbal cosmetics and skin care items can be prepared using the common and not so common herbs and essential oils. There is wide variety to choose from. Some of these are natural preservatives themselves while others are hardening agents with excellent use for face masks. Many are effective emulsifiers. Fruits, vegetables and other herbal extracts and oils have their own fine aromas and fragrances.

Organic cosmetic manufacturers like Herbally Radiant have come up with excellent formulations to suit different types of skin and age-groups. They support green movements and are environment friendly.
